Open to the public, this panel discussion will feature authors CATHERINE GILBERT MURDOCH and KATHY McCOLLOUGH, as well as Baldwin's school psychologist, Dr. Sherie Saner, and English Teacher, Jill Brown, who will discuss female literary characters and the themes of magic and empowerment. Moderated by Ruth Hochberger, former Editor-in-Chief of The New York Law Journal, professor at NYU and CUNY, and contributor to The Huffington Post.

Children's Book World is thrilled to join MAIN LINE ART CENTER once again in celebrating the great art of children's books. Look at books through the eyes of the illustrators as you meet the artists, view their work, and hear more about how they chose their profession. Books will be available for purchase and autographing. You can make your visit to the book fair extra special by creating your own pocket-book to remember the day. (see below).

Artful Pocket-Book Family Workshop @ Main Line Art Center
Sun., March 11 - 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm
Fill your pages with illustrator autographs, use it for sketching during presentations and add keepsakes collected throughout the day. Register for one or all three timeslots (make one book per workshop). Pre-registration strongly suggested as space is limited. Project will take approx.15 minutes. Open to ages 5 & up with caregiver.
$5 M/$10 NM per workshop
